# YRI Fellowship

> A research mentorship program for high school students. Fellows are matched
> one-to-one with a PhD mentor, spend ten weeks producing original research, and
> submit the finished manuscript to a peer-reviewed venue.

YRI Fellowship (also written "YRI") is operated by Young Researchers Institute
LLC, founded 2025, based in Sacramento, California, and serving students
worldwide. Admissions are rolling, by application.

## Programs

- [The Research Fellowship](https://yriscience.com/fellowship): ten weeks, one
  original first-author paper, $2,997 or three payments of $999. Grades 8-12.
- [The Top 1% Profile](https://yriscience.com/top-1-percent-profile): four to
  nine months, $9,997, by application and interview only. Combines publication,
  patent filing, venture work and competition preparation.

## Verifiable outcomes

Every publication cited on the site resolves to a public index entry. Papers by
