Asked whether two nearby pulsars explain a cosmic-ray mystery, accepted at an IEEE conference
Detectors in space see more high-energy positrons than standard physics predicts, and nearby pulsars are a leading suspect. Yuvan built a simplified two-zone diffusion model to test whether two nearby pulsars, Geminga and Monogem, could contribute to this positron excess, tackling an open question in astroparticle physics.
